Bio

Dr. Águeda Duarte graduated in medicine between 1990 and 1997. She later specialized in neurology from 2002 to 2007. From 1998 to 2002, she worked as a general practitioner and head of the medical ward at the Maputo Military Hospital.

Between 2005 and 2006, she completed an internship in neurophysiology in Madrid, Spain, and deepened her academic training with a neurophysiology course in Portugal, from 2009 to 2011. From 2012 to 2022, she was national director of military health. Since 2019, he has held the position of President of the Faculty of Neurology, contributing significantly to the advancement of neurology in the country.
