Dr. Jevani Govender is a dedicated and compassionate paediatrician with 20 years of experience providing top-notch medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Board-certified in paediatrics, Dr. Govender is committed to delivering personalized, family-centred care that addresses the unique needs of each child. After completing medical school at the University of Pretoria, Dr. Govender went on to complete a residency program in paediatrics at Tygerberg Hospital through Stellenbosch University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Govender has stayed up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine, ensuring that patients receive the most effective and compassionate care possible. Dr. Govender is a member of SAPA (South African Paediatric Association), PMG (Paediatric Management Group) and USANA (United South African Neonatal Association). She is accepting new patients and looks forward to partnering with families to promote healthy growth, development, and well-being.
As a seasoned paediatrician with experience in both the public and private health care sectors, a charming bedside manner and great clinical acumen with kids of all ages, especially premature infants, Dr Govender says that this path has been a gift and a passion fulfilled. Outside of the office, Dr. Govender enjoys reading, outdoor sports and leisure as well as music and values the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families."
