Bio

Dr Joseph Tlakale Seritsane is an AO Fellowship-trained orthopaedic and spine surgeon with extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of orthopaedic and spinal conditions. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by his internship and community service. He subsequently completed his specialist registrar training and obtained his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Orthopaedic Surgery from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. Following his specialisation, Dr Seritsane completed an AO Spine Fellowship, further advancing his knowledge, clinical expertise and surgical experience in the management of spinal conditions. He has several years of experience as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon and brings valuable expertise in managing a broad range of orthopaedic and spinal conditions. Dr Seritsane is a compassionate and dedicated surgeon who follows a patient-centred, holistic and multidisciplinary approach to patient care, with a strong focus on achieving optimal treatment outcomes and supporting patients’ long-term quality of life.
He is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and is a member of the South African Orthopaedic Association and the South African Spine Society.
