Dr Kabelo Joseph Thusang is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in neuromuscular medicine and child & adolescent neurology. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Since 2018, Dr. Thusang has practiced at Michigan State University and University of Michigan-affiliated medical centres in the United States. He is recognized for his expertise in dysautonomia and neuromuscular disorders and provides care for a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, stroke, and neuropathies. Dr. Thusang performs specialized diagnostic procedures including EMG and nerve conduction studies, EEG, autonomic function testing, and long-term video EEG monitoring. He also leads the paediatric neuromuscular disorders clinic at MSU Health Care, caring for children with complex neurological conditions. He earned his doctor of medicine degree from St. George's University, completed his paediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Centre in New York, and his neurology and child neurology fellowship at Detroit Medical Centre in Michigan.
