Dr. Lesley Isabel Popa Milanés is a renowned nephrologist in Mozambique, with approximately 20 years of experience in family health and 13 years dedicated to nephrology. She worked at HCM (2014-2018), and during that period she helped train nursing staff in hemodialysis services in the cities of Beira and Nampula. Between 2019 and 2021, she was involved in the supervision of internships and medical residencies in nephrology, contributing to the training of several Cuban professionals. Between 2023-2024 she worked at HCB where she helped to revitalize the hemodialysis service.
