Dr Mohammed Kolia completed his undergraduate training at the University of Pretoria. Dr Kolia worked 9 years in general surgery as a medical officer, Registrar and Consultant before he relocated to Cape Town. Dr Kolia specialised in urology at Groote Schuur Hospital.
His passion for minimally invasive surgery and unique opportunity to train under Dr Sunil Sinha who offered the opportunity to be the only laparoscopic urologist in the Northern Cape. His passion for new technologies and advancement of medical science has to the latest cutting-edge urology service at Royal Hospital and Heart Centre.
