Bio

Dr Muhammad Zafar Khan is a sub-specialist Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate medical school training at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating second in his class. He went on to complete his five year general surgical and trauma training in KZN at Greys Hospital. He completed with a masters in surgery (MMeD) and a Fellowship from the College of Surgeons South Africa (FCS (SA)).

Dr Khan went on to do an additional two year sub-specialty fellowship in vascular surgery at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre and Wits University. He completed with a Certificate in Vascular Surgery (Cert Vascular Surgery (SA)).

Dr Khan maintains an academic affiliation with Wits University and trains medical students, interns, general surgical and vascular surgical trainees. He also continues to publish research in international journals such as the British Medical Journal and the World Journal of Surgery.
