Bio

Dr Shangase is a registered trauma surgeon based in Durban. She qualified as a trauma surgeon in 2022 and has provided trauma care since 2013 after qualifying as a general surgeon that same year. She gained extensive experience in trauma care while working under the supervision of Prof Oosthuizen, Prof Moeng, and Prof Hardcastle.

She specializes in managing both adult and paediatric patients with blunt and penetrating trauma.
