Bio

Dr Sanjay Sadhwani is a specialist urologist with a specific interest in prostate disease, men’s sexual health and minimally invasive urological surgery.
Dr Sadhwani has been working within the Pietermaritzburg public sector at Greys hospital since 2019, and Pietermaritzburg private sector since 2023. He is also a lecturer in the division of urology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Dr Sadhwani is an award winner and member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and has been practicing urology since 2014 at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. He is a member of the South African Urological Association and was the urology representative during his residency time. Dr Sadhwani was also awarded the Best Urology Registrar Award in 2020 & 2022 at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
His special interests include andrology, uro-oncology, uro-gynae, vasectomies and overactive bladder management. In his spare time, Dr Sadhwani is a marathon runner (Two oceans and Soweto marathon), cyclist (Cape town cycle tour and Cape Argus) and enjoys hiking mountains like Mt Fuji, Japan.
