Bio

Dr Sello Mashamaite completed his undergraduate degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1993 and worked as a general practitioner for 10 years. He obtained his masters in Public Health (Health Informatics) from Unisa and later his Diploma in HIV Management (CMSA). Dr Mashamaite is passionate about HIV management and was manager of Thembalethu HIV clinic at Helen Joseph hospital. He served as medical advisor to Tshwane district for Right to Care. He worked as a sub-investigator in HIV, TB and Covid-19 research through Aurum Institute. He holds a certificate in travel medicine through the University of the Witwatersrand. He enjoys reading, calligraphy and art.
