- Congenital cardiovascular disease – surgery for patent ductus arteriosus, coarctation of aorta, atrial septal defects, ventricular septal defects, Tetralogy of Fallot, anomalous pulmonary venous return, and atrioventricular canal defects
- General thoracic disease – surgery for oesophageal cancer, lung cancer, pleural disease, oesophageal benign disease, hiatus hernias, and congenital lung disease
- Employs both thoracoscopic and open surgical techniques
