Bio

Dr. Shali completed his rotations within University of the Witwatersrand circuit from 2010 to 2017. During this time, he obtained a Diploma in HIV Management (PgDip), an Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine (MMed), the Fellowship of the College of Physicians of South Africa (FCP(SA)) and qualified as a certified nephrologist. In January 2019, he joined the Klerksdorp-Tshepong Hospital Complex, where he has been serving as a specialist physician and nephrologist, as well as the Head of the Clinical Unit for Nephrology.
Dr. Shali is passionate about managing complex kidney disorders, with particular expertise in chronic kidney disease, dialysis, hypertension, and renal transplantation. He is deeply committed to patient-centred care, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support the prevention, early diagnosis, and effective management of kidney diseases.
