Dr Sudeshen Naidoo
Specialist Radiation Oncologist
Dr Naidoo obtained his MBChB at the University of Limpopo and then completed a five-year postgraduate fellowship, FC Rad Onc (SA) at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. This involved extensive research on the topic: “The Pattern of Practice for Palliative Radiotherapy in Oesophageal Carcinoma – A Retrospective Analysis.”
Dr Naidoo also acted as a facilitator for 4th and 5th year Medical students at Wits Med School and he was a part of the CMJAH MDT’s for Gynae Oncology, Skin and Breast Cancer.
Passionate about an uncompromising approach to standards in the medical arena, Dr Naidoo is also a member of numerous industry professional associations, including the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), the South African Medical Association (SAMA) and the South African Society of Clinical and Radiation Oncology (SASCRO).
Just some of his key achievements includes the fact that he presented at the Wits Multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal Surgical symposium which was held in 2013 on “Selective Internal Radiation Therapy Radioembolisation for advanced Liver Cancer and Liver Metastasis.”
He also conducted further research on Locally Advanced Oesophageal Cancer and Palliative External Beam Radiation with and without High Dose Rate Brachytherapy. His research is set to soon be published locally and internationally.
Dr Omondi
Ogude Medical Oncologist & Physician
Dr Ogude was born in the city of Nairobi; he attended and completed high school at Sacred Heart College in Johannesburg. He attained his medical degree (MBChB) from the University of The Witwatersrand in 2005.
He then went on to do his internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital and then completed a year’s community service at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital in 2007.
Dr Ogude specialised in Internal Medicine and qualified as a Specialist Physician FCP (SA) in 2011.
He sub-specialised in Medical Oncology at Wits University where he obtained his Cert. Med. Oncology in 2014.
