Dr Abraham Wynand Erasmus, also known as Dr Abrie Erasmus is an orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to restoring mobility and improving quality of life through modern, evidence-based care.

He completed his medical degree at the University of the Free State from 2008 to 2012 and specialised in orthopaedic surgery there from 2020 to 2025, graduating with distinction and becoming a Fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FC Orth (SA)). From January 2026, he has been practising at Lenmed Wilmed Park Hospital and Heart Centre, offering expertise in trauma, hip and knee reconstruction, shoulder surgery, sports injuries, and foot and ankle surgery.

Dr Erasmus combines precise surgical technique with compassionate, patient-centred care focused on safety, clarity, and lasting recovery.
