Dr Ricardina Nhampule

Bio

Dr. Ricardina Nhampule is a specialist in General Surgery.
With a subspecialty in Onco-Surgery (IPO - Portuguese Institute of Oncology) and minimally invasive surgery (Spain, Talavera de la Reiña), she is a member of Cosecsa (African College of Surgery). She graduated in Medicine from UCM in 2010 and discovered her passion for surgery early on. She has about 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors, as well as in health project management.

Currently, she works in multidisciplinary teams treating patients with surgical oncological disease of the gastrointestinal tract and breast. She is interested in research and development of surgery and oncology in Africa. She is characterized by her empathy, persistence in the search for definitive diagnoses, and interest in technology in medicine.
