Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital welcomes and celebrates the birth of triplets
June 2023 – Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital is delighted to announce the successful delivery of healthy triplets at its facility. The joyous occasion took place on 26 May 2023, marking a significant milestone for both the hospital and proud parents.
Under the exceptional care of the highly skilled medical team, the mother and babies received the utmost attention, leading to a successful outcome. The hospital is proud to have played a vital role in ensuring the safe delivery of the newborns.
In partnership to see the successful delivery of the three boys, obstetrician-gynaecologists Professor Goolab and Dr Mndebele with receiving paediatrician Dr Lorgat led the medical team responsible for the delivery. With their extensive expertise and dedication, they managed the complex process with the utmost professionalism, support and compassion, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and the premature babies throughout the procedure.

Both parents expressed their gratitude to the team and hospital noting that the delivery took place on the day of their personal milestone, which was their 11th wedding anniversary. “We would like to thank the Lenmed family for the wonderful gifts, and endless support during this period. The staff at maternity, neonatal and theatre units have been exceptionally welcoming and continued to go the extra mile. Thank you to both Prof Goolab and Dr Mndebele for being exceptional doctors,” they shared.
