July 2023 – Lenmed’s Bokamoso Private Hospital was recently listed among several other health facilities to be accredited by the Council for Health Service Accreditation of Southern Africa (COHSASA). This was after the hospital met extremely rigorous, internationally recognised standards, signifying that their patients can expect to receive safe and quality care. The recognition is the third consecutive one for Bokamoso Private Hospital, with the first COHSASA accreditation received in 2016.

To earn accreditation, Lenmed Bokamoso Private Hospital underwent a comprehensive and demanding quality improvement programme and has been assessed against and complied with standards recognised by the International Society for Quality in Health Care External Evaluation Association, the global body overseeing accreditation and quality improvement programmes in healthcare organisations in 70 countries.

By successfully meeting the strict accreditation standards, the hospital has demonstrated its ability to effectively manage risks, enhance patient safety protocols, and implement best practices in clinical care. This achievement not only reinforces Lenmed Bokamoso Private Hospital’s commitment to excellence but also provides reassurance to the community it serves that they can expect the highest quality of care when entrusting their health to the hospital and its team of dedicated health professionals.

As part of its ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, Lenmed Bokamoso Private Hospital will remain dedicated to maintaining and exceeding the accreditation standards.
